Night of 1,000 Santas Festival and Night Lights Parade is Nov. 27

The Night of 1,000 Santas Festival and Parade in Old Town Pocatello will be held on Friday, November 27.

Stop by Muse Boutique Salon & Spa, 501 N. Main Street for a free Santa hat. 1,000 hats will be given away on a first come, first served basis. Then on November 27 festivities will begin at 1 p.m. when the Citizens Community Band Old Town Trolley will be giving free trolley rides through Old Town Pocatello. Santa’s elves will be on board giving treats to all the children.

Santa will arrive at the Old Town Pavilion, 420 N. Main Street at 4 p.m. and will visit with children until about 6 p.m. There will be food, cookies, music and more. The Talking Christmas Tree and Frosty the Snowman will also be there.

The Night Lights Parade will begin at 6:30 p.m. Parade organizers are encouraging everyone to wear their Santa hat to the parade so the entire route will be lined with the hats.

The parade will begin at First and East Lewis, streets then travel east to Third Ave., then north to E. Center Street. It will travel west through the Center Street Underpass, turn south onto Union Pacific Ave. and travel down to West Bonneville St. It will then head west to Main Street and travel north down Main Street to West Wyeth Street. It will end at the Union Pacific parking lot near North Harrison Ave.
